Banksy and the Modern Pop Art
Movement
The modern day hero of Pop Art, the unknown magician of an artist, Banksy both enthralls and inspires. Here you will find information about him, history, his life and his art. Often a commentary on society as it stands today, he reacts and engages with poplar culture and opinion, drawing comparisons between rich and poor, the realtionship of the West with the world and the lampooning conflict with peaceful imagery. Arguably a modern day genius, he understands culture and has sparked a wide range of copycat graffiti artists.
